There will be 7 live 90 minute lectures, weekly on Wednesdays via Zoom. All lectures video taped and available on the course website. Course starts Wednesday 29 April. All lectures at 8-9:30 PM EST (5-6:30 pm PST). Overseas students welcome!

Light is critical for life. It affects many aspects of a dog's reproductive biology, from seasonal cycles to the timing of birth, organ development, and behavior.
In this course, we will learn how light and darkness control physiology, and what can go wrong if the amount and timing of light aren't appropriate. We will cover these general topics:

What is this course about?
You will learn about the critical role light plays in the biology of the dog, and especially during whelping, where light can cause uterine inertia that results in stillborn and distressed puppies. How long, how much? The course is approximately 7 weeks; fee is $145. How will we meet? There will be weekly 90 minute lectures by Zoom that will be videotaped and availale for review on the course website 24/7. What do we need? Just an interneet connection. |
