BEST & WORST GENETIC DIVERSITY
These are data for genetic diversity from analyses done by MyDogDNA and were copied from their website in March 2016. Their graphs are updated as new samples are measured.
The data for the breed are graphed in blue. The orange line is for all dogs, the green line is for related or similar breeds. High genetic heterozygosity is to the right, low heterozygosity (= high inbreeding) is to the left. This is only a sampling of the breeds for which data are available. If your breed is not on here you should check their website.
I have discussed these data and how to interpret them in my blog post "What are we going to do about Terriers?".
