The ICB Breeder Tool is in beta testing and is now availalbe to order. Some features in development will be implemented when they become availalble. Analyses that depend on information about the population of dogs in the breed will become available when there is sufficient data.

What if I already have DNA data for my dog?

If you already have a DNA file for your dog, you can add it to the ICB-BT database during the beta test period for $35 from the order button below. The ICB Breeder Tool is compatible with the DNA data files produced by Embark Veterinary, and there might be other acceptable sources as well (they need to have been run on the Illumina CanineHD SNP chip). If you have a DNA file from somebody other than Embark, please contact us before sending it so we can confirm compatibility. Note that DNA profiles or parental verification analyses (e.g., AKC DNA Profile) are NOT suitable for the ICB Breeder Tool. They are very low resolution files with just a few markers.

We will contact you with a link to a Dropbox folder where files can be deposited. Please use your last name as part of the file name and give each one a number for identification.
